As the Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development, Jordan leads the planning and execution for over $1 billion in real estate development projects at the company’s gaming, racing, hospitality, and entertainment properties. Prior to his current role, he spent 10 years as the General Manager of Churchill Downs Racetrack and oversaw the sales, marketing, and operations at the historic property.  In that role, he also led the design, development and construction for $180 million in projects at the racetrack including the addition of the Mansion, Turf Club, Stakes Room, Winner’s Circle Suites, Matt Winn’s Steakhouse, and the Starting Gate Suites.

Jordan joined the company in 2009 as Vice President of Operations for the Churchill Downs Entertainment Group and helped develop and operate the HullabaLOU Music Festival, which hosted 65 musical acts, including Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney and the Dave Matthews Band.

Prior to joining Churchill Downs, Jordan worked for the PGA of America as the Championship Director of the PGA Championship where he managed the planning, sales, marketing, and operation of the major professional golf championship in several cities across the country.

Jordan holds an MBA from the University of Louisville and a bachelors degree in business management from North Carolina State University.  He currently serves on the board of the Downtown Development Corporation and the Louisville Metro Police Foundation.
